With a population of approximately 1.86 million, Hamburg is the second largest city in Germany after Berlin, and is one of the largest ports in Europe. Located on two rivers – the Elbe and Alster – the Hanseatic city has 2485 bridges and thus more than Venice, Amsterdam and Stockholm combined.

Motorways, suburban railway stations and bus stops – everything is in close proximity to our office, so we can be easily and quickly reached from anywhere in the city. Hamburg has an extensive public transport system with suburban and underground trains that run often – on weekends they run all night.

15 years of Elbstation - what does that mean for young people?

The Elbstation Akademie

We not only want to take on social responsibility, we also want to make it sustainable. In 2005, we set up the Elbstiftung foundation, which supports educationally disadvantaged young people, often with a migration background, with its Elbstation Akademie project.
